Christ Makes Clean
Christ Makes Clean | Acts 10:1-33 | Manny Pereira
Christ is truly Lord of all nations and Savior of the world, and this had to be brought home in the church before she could go global. The apostolic witness had not yet crossed the dividing wall of separation between Jew and Gentile. The church had to formally realize, beginning with Peter, that Christ’s blood which ratified the New Covenant opens salvation to the nations. This passage is saturated in symbolism. That which was unclean before God is made clean by Christ, but only through faith in the received Word of the Cross.
