Genuine greatness requires sacrificing everything. Apostle Paul’s resilient, joyful approach to ministry amid trials and hostility is exceptionally attractive. The church can derive substantial benefits today by adhering to his exemplary missionary motto. While it is easy to settle for a marginal life, every Christian must put the priorities of the gospel at the center of their prayer life. Resolving this vital shift in perspective can radically refine the church’s vision, spark renewed passion, and reinforce its mission.
