True Worship is Christ-centered

Having applied the gospel to address sins that separate, to cultivate humility, gentleness, forbearance, forgiveness, and love among one another, and to promote true peace, the Apostle progresses to the chief purpose of our existence and aim of the gospel, namely true worship. True worship is always an express response to the revelation of God from the heart. It always involves wisdom, and is exercised in various forms of teaching, admonishing, thanksgiving, singing, speaking, and is most generally expressed in all that we do. This is the first message in a short series, addressing the first three principles of true worship: (1) true worship is Christ-centered; (2) true worship is Word-driven; and (3) true worship is mind-engaging.
