As stewards of God’s words and works, it is with delight that we have the opportunity to gather as His people in worship by way of a reminder of the truth, power, and goodness of the sacred Scriptures. May we gather in His name and for His glory as we endeavor to make much of Christ through scripture, prayer, song, and the preaching of His Word. We look forward to gathering together this Lord’s day – For Christ, to God’s Glory, and Man’s Joy!

Gathering Gentiles | Acts 10:44-48 | Manny Pereira
This passage presents an interruption. A glorious one. Peter just began preaching the gospel to a Gentile audience. It is an epoch-making event. The Holy Spirit demonstrates the effectual instrumentality of gospel preaching for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Gentile. God is pleased, through the proclamation of Christ, to gather Gentiles into the church, granting them repentance that leads to life.
What We Believe
Excerpt from the Belgic Confession (Articles 20-21, 23):
What do we believe about God?
We believe that God,
who is perfectly merciful and just,
sent his Son to bear the punishment of our disobedience by His most bitter death.
What do we believe about Jesus Christ?
We believe that Jesus Christ
presented Himself in our name before His Father, to appease His wrath with full satisfaction
by offering Himself on the cross
and pouring out His precious blood
for the cleansing of our sins.
What do we believe about the work of Jesus Christ?
We find all rest and comforts in His wounds
and have no need to seek or invent any other means to reconcile ourselves with God
than this one and only sacrifice, once made, which renders believers perfect forever.
We are justified “freely” or “by grace” through redemption in Jesus Christ.
And therefore:
We cling to this foundation, which is firm forever,
giving all glory to God, humbling ourselves, and recognizing ourselves as we are;
not claiming a thing for ourselves or our merits and leaning and resting on the sole obedience of Christ crucified,
which is ours when we believe in him.
