Sunday, January 4
As stewards of God’s words and works, it is with delight that we have the opportunity to gather as His people in worship by way of a reminder of the truth, power, and goodness of the sacred Scriptures. May we gather in His name and for His glory as we endeavor to make much of Christ through scripture, prayer, song, and the preaching of His Word. We look forward to gathering together this Lord’s day – For Christ, to God’s Glory, and Man’s Joy!

This Sunday’s Sermon
The Blessed Walk | Psalm 1:1-6 | Manny Pereira
Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. - Psalm 1:1–3 (ESV)
The Lord’s Table
Communion Sunday
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ has committed two ordinances to the local church, baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We believe that the Lord’s Supper was instituted by Christ for commemoration of His death. We believe that the two ordinances should be observed and administered until the return of the Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 2:41; 8:38-39; 1 Corinthians 11:23-32). All who are in Christ are invited to the table today.

Verse 1
Did you draw a breath as the dawn awoke,
And does your heart still beat?
Is the mighty Word of the living God
Upholding you? Then sing, O sing.
Verse 2
Has the Father’s love filled your longing heart
With grace for every need?
Come and lay your burdens at Jesus’ feet
And find new strength to sing, O sing.
(Chorus)
Morning and evening,
Everything breathing must sing, O sing!
All of creation
Rise up and praise the King of kings and sing!
Verse 3
Has the Son of God died to take away
Your sin and set you free?
Has the Conqueror trampled over death?
Is Christ enthroned? Then sing, O sing!
(Repeat Chorus)
Verse 4
On the final day when the Lord on High
Returns in majesty,
We will bow in wonder before the Lamb
And evermore the saints will sing,
Yes, evermore the saints will sing!
(Chorus 2)
Morning and evening,
Everything breathing must sing, O sing!
All of creation
Rise up and praise the King of kings
Morning and evening,
Everything breathing must sing, O sing!
All of creation
Rise up and praise the King of kings and sing!

Praise to the Lord, the Almighty
Verse 1
Praise to the Lord, the Almighty,
The King of creation;
O my soul, praise Him,
For He is thy health and salvation.
All ye who hear,
Now to His temple draw near:
Join me in glad adoration!
Verse 2
Praise to the Lord,
Who o’er all things so wondrously reigneth,
Shelters thee under His wings,
Yea, so gently sustaineth.
Hast thou not seen
How thy desires e'er have been
Granted in what He ordaineth?
Verse 3
Praise to the Lord,
Who with marvelous wisdom hath made thee,
Decked thee with health, and with
Loving hand guided and stayed thee.
How oft in grief
Hath He not brought thee relief,
Spreading His wings for to shade thee!
Verse 4
Praise to the Lord,
Who doth prosper thy hand and defend thee;
Surely His goodness and mercy
Here daily attend thee.
Ponder anew
What the Almighty can do,
If with His love He befriend thee.
Verse 5
Praise to the Lord,
Oh, let all that is in me adore Him!
All that hath life and breath,
Come now with praises before Him.
Let the Amen
Sound from His people again,
Gladly for aye we adore Him.

Be Thou My Vision
Verse 1
Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that thou art
Thou my best thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.
Verse 2
Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father and I Thy true son,
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.
Verse 3
Be Thou my battle Shield, Sword for the fight;
Be Thou my Armor, and be Thou my Light,
Thou my soul’s Shelter, Thou my high Tower
Raise Thou me heavenward, O Power of my power.
Verse 4
Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise,
Thou mine inheritance, now and always;
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,
High King of heaven, my Treasure Thou art.
Verse 5
High King of heaven, my victory won,
May I reach heaven’s joys, O bright heaven’s Sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my Vision, O Ruler of all.

Yet Not I But Through Christ In Me
Verse 1
What gift of grace is Jesus my redeemer
There is no more for heaven now to give
He is my joy, my righteousness, and freedom
My steadfast love, my deep and boundless peace.
To this I hold, my hope is only Jesus
For my life is wholly bound to His.
Oh how strange and divine,
I can sing: all is mine!
Yet not I, but through Christ in me.
Verse 2
The night is dark but I am not forsaken
For by my side, the Savior He will stay.
I labor on in weakness and rejoicing
For in my need, His power is displayed
To this I hold, my Shepherd will defend me
Through the deepest valley He will lead
Oh the night has been won,
And I shall overcome!
Yet not I, but through Christ in me.
Verse 3
No fate I dread, I know I am forgiven
The future sure, the price it has been paid
For Jesus bled and suffered for my pardon
And He was raised to overthrow the grave
To this I hold, my sin has been defeated
Jesus now and ever is my plea
Oh the chains are released,
I can sing: I am free!
Yet not I, but through Christ in me.
Verse 4
With every breath I long to follow Jesus
For He has said that He will bring me home
And day by day I know He will renew me
Until I stand with joy before the throne
To this I hold, my hope is only Jesus
All the glory evermore to Him
When the race is complete,
Still my lips shall repeat:
Yet not I, but through Christ in me.

All Glory Be to Christ
Verse 1
Should nothing of our efforts stand,
No legacy survive
Unless the Lord does raise the house,
In vain its builders strive.
To you who boast tomorrow's gain,
Tell me what is your life?
A mist that vanishes at dawn,
All glory be to Christ!
(Chorus)
All glory be to Christ our King!
All glory be to Christ!
His rule and reign we'll ever sing,
All glory be to Christ!
Verse 2
His will be done, His kingdom come,
On earth as is above
Who is Himself our daily bread,
Praise Him the Lord of love.
Let living water satisfy
The thirsty without price
We'll take a cup of kindness yet,
All glory be to Christ!
(Repeat Chorus)
Verse 3
When on the day the great I Am,
The faithful and the true
The Lamb who was for sinners slain,
Is making all things new.
Behold our God shall live with us
And be our steadfast light
And we shall e're His people be,
All glory be to Christ!
(Repeat Chorus)
