Sunday, February 22
As stewards of God’s words and works, it is with delight that we have the opportunity to gather as His people in worship by way of a reminder of the truth, power, and goodness of the sacred Scriptures. May we gather in His name and for His glory as we endeavor to make much of Christ through scripture, prayer, song, and the preaching of His Word. We look forward to gathering together this Lord’s day – For Christ, to God’s Glory, and Man’s Joy!

Today’s Song Lyrics
Praise His Name (Psalm 148)
Verse 1
Reaches of heaven, starry heights,
Lights of the evening, dancing in silent skies,
Brilliance of morning, breaking day,
O let them praise Him, praise His name.
(Chorus 1)
O praise His name, O praise His name,
Let all His wondrous works declare His praise!
Verse 2
Mightiest mountains, peaceful plains,
Snowfall and fire, thundering ocean waves,
Kings and their kingdoms, age to age,
O let them praise Him, praise His name.
(Chorus 2)
O praise His name, O praise His name,
Let all His wondrous works declare His praise!
O praise His name, O praise His name.
Let all His wondrous works declare His praise!
(Bridge)
King enthroned in majesty,
All things made by His decree,
Hear creation’s melody,
Praise Him! Praise Him!
Everything with life and breath,
Everywhere from east to west
Every heart raised from the dead.
Praise Him! Praise Him!
Angels echo the refrain,
“Jesus, Lamb for sinners slain!”
Name above all other names,
Praise Him!

He Is Our God
Verse 1
Who can light the fires
Of a thousand burning suns,
Blazing in the heavens?
There is only One;
He is our God.
Verse 2
Who commands the nations,
Building up and tearing down,
Silencing His rivals?
There is only One;
He is our God, He is our God.
(Chorus 1)
Holy, You lone are holy,
Matchless in Your glory,
Holy God.
Verse 3
Who would come to save us
When we turned away His love,
Conquer us with kindness?
There is only One;
He is our God, He is our God.
(Chorus 2)
Holy, You lone are holy,
Matchless in Your glory,
No one is like You.
Worthy, You alone are worthy.
We adore You only,
Holy God.
(Bridge)
Now to the King on the throne
Who was and is to come
And to the Lamb Who was slain be glory
(Chorus 3)
Holy, You lone are holy,
Matchless in Your glory,
No one is like You.
Worthy, You alone are worthy.
We adore You only,
Holy God.

Yours Alone
Verse 1
Oh, what a love is this that rescues and forgives?
You suffered in our place to make us heirs of grace
You chose unworthy ones as daughters and as sons
Redeemed to be Your bride, the prize for which You died
(Chorus 1)
We are Yours alone,
Our life, our everything is Yours alone
Oh, King of mercy, make our hearts Your throne,
We are Yours alone
Verse 2
You saved us to proclaim the beauty of Your name
To make Your glory known, for we are not our own
(Repeat Chorus 1)
(Bridge)
Lord, reign unrivaled, within Your people, Your kingdom come! Your will be done in us
Tear down our idols, we are Your temple, may all our days unfold in praise to You
Own our affections, claim our devotion, all we adore forevermore
(Chorus 2)
We are Yours alone,
Our life, our everything is Yours alone
Oh, King of mercy, make our hearts Your throne,
We are Yours alone
Our life, our everything is Yours alone
Oh, King of mercy, make our hearts Your throne,
We are Yours alone

Afflicted Saint, to Christ Draw Near
Verse 1
Afflicted saint, to Christ draw near,
Your Savior’s gracious promise hear,
His faithful Word, you can believe,
That as your days your strength shall be
Verse 2
Your faith is weak, your foes are strong,
And if the conflict should be long,
The Lord will make the tempter flee,
That as your days your strength shall be.
(Chorus)
So, sing with joy, afflicted one;
The battle’s fierce, but the victory’s won;
God shall supply all that you need.
Yes, as your days your strength shall be.
Verse 3
Should persecution rage and flame,
Still trust in your Redeemer’s name;
In fiery trials you shall see,
That as your days your strength shall be.
(Repeat Chorus)
Verse 4
When called to bear your weighty cross,
Or sore affliction, pain, or loss,
Or deep distress or poverty,
Still as your days your strength shall be.
(Repeat Chorus)

His Glory and My Good
Verse 1
I have seen my Father’s glory
Revealed in Jesus Christ
And the more that I behold Him,
The more He satisfies.
When I gaze upon His beauty,
When I see Him as I should
Then my eyes are lifted upward
For His glory and my good.
Verse 2
There is hope in every trial
For I can trust the Lord.
He will turn my heart towards Him
And help me bare the thorn.
So in faith I follow Jesus
On the road not understood.
For I know that He is working
For His glory and my good.
(Chorus)
To our God be the glory,
To our God be praise.
He alone, the name above all names.
I will boast ever only
In the Lord my God, for I know
His glory is my good.
Verse 3
See the open arms of Jesus
Upon the cross that day.
What they understood as weakness
Deserves my every praise.
For the charge that was against me,
It was nailed into the wood.
Yes, I know that He has saved me
For His glory and my good.
(Repeat Chorus)
Verse 4
Would I gladly be made nothing
That Christ would be made more.
Would I seek the only kingdom
That far outweighs them all.
I will stand before my Father
Where the faithful saints have stood
And with Joy my heart shall praise Him
For His glory and my good.
(Repeat Chorus)
Yes, I know
His glory is my good.

Yet Not I But Through Christ In Me
Verse 1
What gift of grace is Jesus, my Redeemer;
There is no more for heaven now to give.
He is my joy, my righteousness, and freedom,
My steadfast love, my deep and boundless peace.
To this I hold: my hope is only Jesus,
For my life is wholly bound to His.
Oh, how strange and divine,
I can sing: all is mine!
Yet not I, but through Christ in me.
Verse 2
The night is dark, but I am not forsaken,
For by my side, the Savior, He will stay.
I labor on in weakness and rejoicing,
For in my need His power is displayed.
To this I hold: my Shepherd will defend me;
Through the deepest valley He will lead.
Oh the night has been won,
And I shall overcome!
Yet not I, but through Christ in me.
Verse 3
No fate I dread; I know I am forgiven;
The future sure, the price, it has been paid.
For Jesus bled and suffered for my pardon,
And He was raised to overthrow the grave.
To this I hold: my sin has been defeated;
Jesus now and ever is my plea.
Oh, the chains are released,
I can sing: I am free!
Yet not I, but through Christ in me.
Verse 4
With every breath I long to follow Jesus,
For He has said that He will bring me home.
And day by day I know He will renew me
Until I stand with joy before the throne.
To this I hold: my hope is only Jesus;
All the glory evermore to Him.
When the race is complete,
Still my lips shall repeat:
Yet not I, but through Christ in me.
