This is a study on loving God. But we are not as loving as we imagine. So great is our sin that God must love if we are to love. God must work within if from within we are to love God. The chief principle of divine love is stated in no uncertain terms: “We love because he first loved us” (1 John 4:19). The ultimate source of our discipline must be God Himself.
