Many equate ‘great mind’ with ‘smart’; but the truly great mind is one that characteristically lives in increasing conformity to Christ, demonstrating the purpose for which the human mind was made. This purpose can be nothing less than God’s glory and man’s joy. But this purpose cannot be realized apart from a work of grace in rebirth and a work of grace in resolve.
