Sins That Separate

Sin separates, that is the functional nature of sin (Is 59:2). Sin separates man from God and man from man. Sin is the cause of all social evils: societal degeneration, demoralization, and destruction. The root of sin is self—self-centeredness, selfishness, self-conceit, self. This message takes a closer look at Colossians 3:8-11 to see the ugliness of sins that separate, to die to self-centeredness, and to live unto Christ and Christ-centeredness. True unity, harmony, peace, and love can be attained only in and through this Christ, who is our all.
